The Bad One

This is why Oliver wants to put Little Bit on craigslist. Brook and I threaten Little Bit all the time about putting him on craigslist. We call him "The Bad One." Here is a list of bad things he does:

Bites our ankles & toes (This is understandable; he is a kitty after all), chews holes in our clothing (He especially loves Brook's socks), hollers at the top of his lungs in the middle of the night, gets underneath the bathroom cabinet and pulls woman products out of the box, knocks over the trashcan in the bathroom and pulls everything out of it, rips up the carpet in the bedroom, constantly taunts Vito (He will walk right by Vito and when Vito chases him, he hisses and gets mad. What the heck does he expect???), he talks back to us when we tell him no (yes, he really does), and he bites his sweet brother, Oliver. Anyone want a very bad kitty??? :o) Despite all of his badness, he does have a few sweet qualities about him. He's a great makeup assistant when he's not biting my brushes and knocking my mascara on the floor!!He will also roll on his back be really sweet. He knows I will talk to him when does this.

On an unrelated note, Brook and I left Vito alone in the house for 3 hours yesterday and he didn't destroy anything! Yay Vito!!!

A Place in Heaven

When I was a little girl, my mom would sing me a song about heaven before I went to bed. She said everything will be perfect there and we will always be happy. Whenever I'm struggling or feeling depressed, I think about how happy we will be when we get to heaven and we won't have to worry about anything anymore. Here's a bible verse that always gives me hope when I read it.

"Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also." John 14:1-3

I hope that I can live here when I get to heaven...

or here...

Obviously, God already has a place in mind for me, but I really do love Thomas Kinkade's paintings! It is probably the closest thing to heaven that my mind could ever imagine.
